You can elect to view documents and images in a web pane directly on your NextGen EMR medical record or demographic template. You can also elect to view the document or image in it’s window’s registered viewer (eg: Acrobat Reader for pdf files), or, you can use the Doc-Vault application to browse the patient’s files and view them with our own internal image viewer/editor. Some newer features include standardized patient sub-folders and the ability to switch between patients without returning to NextGen.
Our Newest release has an install for x86 machines as well as for x64 computers.
Although for some, Doc-Vault can be a replacement for ICS, it can also be used as an adjunct to ICS. Doc-Vault makes viewing, annotating and acquiring images and documents easy. Use our pdf printer driver to easily bring in test results from windows based diagnostic equipment, without the need for expensive interfaces.

Doc-Vault is an application that integrates with both the EPM and EMR applications from NextGen. Our program allows the user to add documents, images, sound and multimedia files to a patient’s chart. More importantly, our program allows the user to EASILY view them, just two clicks! We do not alter any NextGen Tables, procedures or functions, although we add a few tables, procedures and functions of our own. Your data will always be secure and available.
